PROJECT NO. 01
Rural-Based Devotional Film
Rooted in the cultural heritage and traditional beliefs of Tamil Nadu, this rural-based devotional film explores the stories and spiritual traditions associated with the village deities who lived among the Tamil people and became an enduring part of their history, faith and cultural identity.
Being developed on a grand scale with a substantial production budget, this ambitious cinematic venture brings together a new vision and a new creative team. With large-scale production planning and a distinctive approach to storytelling, the film aims to present the rich heritage of Tamil soil through an expansive cinematic experience.
Conceived as a Pan-Indian cinematic production, the film is being developed on a grand scale in five languages — Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi — with the vision of reaching audiences across India.
Through the traditions, folklore, rituals and collective memories passed down through generations, the film seeks to bring to the screen the significance of these village deities in Tamil life and heritage.
A grand cinematic journey into the forgotten stories, ancestral traditions and spiritual legacy of Tamil soil.
